Teach UK is a unique program
which is open to qualified and non qualified teachers from both EU and non-EU
states. Non-EU citizens may join Teach UK programs ONLY as part of our Professional
English Program (PEP) sandwich course. Placements are
located in private and state schools and colleges throughout the UK, both at
primary and secondary levels.
The
Course
Teach UK participants will spend
four weeks at our London Center attending an Employment skills course before
commencing their school placement. The course is accredited by NCFE, a
nationally recognized examination body. After completing their placement,
participants return to London to be assessed, and successful candidates will
receive the NCFE intermediate Qualification in Employment skills.

Option
1
Open to qualified
teachers only.
Following a four-week Employment Skills Course at our English
Centre London, participants will be placed at schools throughout the UK as
teaching assistants. A minimum of accommodation, food and a £200 per month
stipend are provided whilst on placement. Dormitory aid and after school hours
supervision will also be part of duties. After completing the placement, participants
will return to London for a one-week assessment period.

Option 2
Open to undergraduates and graduates from
faculties other than education.
Following a
four-week Employment Skills Course at Our English Centre London, participants
will be placed at schools throughout the UK. Duties will include assisting
teachers and monitoring children during school hours. Accommodation, food and
pocket-money are not provided as this is a voluntary internship. However, the
school will be pleased to give assistance in finding accommodation. Dormitory
aid and after school hours supervision will also be part of duties. After
completing the placement, participants will return to London for a one-week
assessment period.
- Minimum stay: 2 academic terms
-Upper Intermediate level
of English is required.
