a lifetime by studying abroad is one about which you need to feel secure and

success-rate of the college you choose. Our partner colleges are powerfully
aware that you are placing your trust in them to support and guide your child
towards success. Trust is therefore central to everything they stand for as an

Curriculum
The High School curriculum in Australia
is justly admired worldwide for the rigor of its academic content and the
searching nature of its formal examinations. The curriculum and the
examinations are administered by each state. Final results are made up of both
examination and assessment to determine a student's university entrance
ranking, which is used by Australian universities to select for undergraduate
places.
Teaching of years
10, 11, and 12 is adapted to each state award. Our approach focuses on putting
the individual needs of students first. We undertake careful and active
management of each student's academic and personal development.

Foundation Year
|
Throughout the academic year, student achievement
is carefully monitored and students are given regular feedback on their
progress. Assessment is through a combination of course work, tests and
examinations. Final assessment takes into account course work grades and
examination results.
At each campus in Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney,
we deliver a foundation program which provides a dedicated path to a university
of international renown. Each partner university is a member of the prestigious
group of eight. Each of our foundation programs has been developed by the
relevant university itself, in conjunction with senior academic staff from our
colleges.
The reputation of our foundation programs is so
strong that we are able to guarantee that students achieving the required
minimum grades will gain a place at the partner University of their Foundation
Program, subject to also meeting any additional criteria specified by the
university. In addition, entry to many other Australian universities is also
possible.
High School/ Foundation Comparison
When making the
decision whether the High School or Foundation option is best for you, you will
need to take a number of factors into consideration. Your academic experience,
your age and your ultimate university ambition will all help toward deciding
the right path for you.
High School
Program Structure
The high school curriculum is ideal for students
who want the maximum subject choice. In years 11 and 12, there will be a choice
of subject areas in addition to core subjects. Assessment will be by a
combination of course work throughout the academic year and final examinations,
which are administered by the state. The formal qualifications achieved at the
end of the program allow students to apply for whatever university they want.
Foundation Program
Structure
The foundation program is a pathway with multiple
start dates for international students only. It is more focused in its academic
content. The program is designed specifically for entry to a particular
university, with the curriculum being designed by both the partner university
and our partner college. There is a greater emphasis on examinations and
achievement of specified grades to guarantee entry to the partner university.
Student may, however, also choose to apply to other universities.
